What is my methodology? Skip to primary content. I tried layering up one of the printed samples at home, by writing with a needle-nose bottle. Not as satisfying as working with dye paste. I prefer to layer up a design using dyes, and keep printing inks as a final layer if necessary. I worked back into the sample with more inks, applied with a bottle, large brush and scraper. Photographing detailed sections also opened up more possibilities for composition.
